reding the metro news paper at work just now and this story made me laugh,

a vandal who keyed a classic car has been unmasked as a 76 year old man, the owner of the damaged classic car a triumph dolomite sprint said its not always the young who are the trouble makers these days,

and in other news,

kids are finding playgrounds to safe and boring these days

playgrounds are simply to safe to be intresting to kids these days a goverment advisort body warned, to many playgrounds have vast areas of safty carpeting, it said plans to spend £235 million upgraging 3,500 playgrounds over the next 3 years would be wasted if counclis relied on a uniformed approach to design, the commission for architecture and the built envoroment said, we must all stop obsessing about risk and trying to wrap our chrildren in cotton wool, and instead create spaces that allow them to use their imagination in a stimulating environment, and one group of idiots have called for more wood, stone and mud to be used to give a natural feel


well i can comment on a lot with that story

1st thing, yeh all fair enough lettnig kids of today play rough but as soon as someone hurts themselfs whats going to happen???? sue the counclis that what will happen

2nd kids cant even play conkers or tag at schools these days cos of goodie goddie nutters so what the hell is it to have wood and stones around that is a law suit waiting to happen if a stone gets lobbed at a other kid of a bit of lose wood cuts a kid,

when i was a kid i was always getting myself into trouble, always in the woods climbinbg trees making dens and all sorts and yes i did hurt myself but it was my own fault, these days you only need to trip on a lose bit of pavement and you can get a few quid of the goverment,

i dont know the whole world has gone far past potty, when its come to the stage when kids cant play with certain toys or play games cos it is giving the wrong image, i used to play with toy guns and knifes when i was a teenager i lernt how to use a real knife and had a go at letting a air gun off at scouts and ive turned out okay

i think lock all the goodie goodies and nutters up and just get on with life and do what ever we want without all these new barmy rules,
